Tameka Williams’ 32-year-old boyfriend gave her the lots of gifts. In return, she stabbed him after an evening of fighting.
Charges of aggravated assault, simple assault, possessing an instrument of crime, theft and related offenses were forwarded for trial against Williams, 37, of North Carolina, at a Wednesday preliminary hearing before District Judge Daniel Baranoski. The judge approved the addition of a aggravated assault and unlawful use of a computer charges. He denied theft by extortion charges and witness intimidation the prosecution wanted to add.

Williams’ ex-boyfriend testified that he considered her “my girl” and bought her a car, gifts and, on occasion, sent her money. He also testified that she wanted him to commit suicide and later she stabbed him as he listened to her and got into the backseat of his Mazda 6 on Bellevue Avenue in Langhorne Manor Borough last month. The man said he was stabbed twice by a pocketknife with an approximately four-inch blade.
Court documents said that the man suffered two stab wounds to the right side of his chest. Police did report he was able to wrestle the knife away from Williams and chuck it out of the car.
Williams told him she was going to take him to the hospital, according to testimony. At the intersection of Bristol Road and Grandview Avenue in Bensalem, the man jumped out of the vehicle at a red light and darted up a hill and toward the Neshaminy Mall, all while “bleeding significantly,” court papers said. The man said in court his shirt was soaked with blood and his bands were covered with it.

He was treated and has recovered from the wounds.
Bucks County Detective Richard Munger Jr. told the court the man suffered bruising on the face, neck and ear in addition to stab wounds.

It was revealed in court by the victim that the stabbing and proceeding fight all started over a post on Facebook and accusations he downloaded a picture of Williams friend. Accounts of what the post said varied.

The day of the stabbing started with Williams appearing at his Middletown Township place of employment and asking if he could go to Hatboro Federal Savings Bank in Hatboro, Montgomery County to withdraw $600, which was nearly everything left in the account. He testified that the money would be enough to get the power turned back on at her North Carolina apartment.

During their trip back to the man’s place of work, the couple argued most of the ride, leading up to the stabbing, which took place as he moved to the back seat so Williams’ could drive.
The couple, who met 9 months ago, were kicked out of a Trevose motel because of a fight the night before the stabbing, the man said. He added that Williams took his personal belongings. He also claimed she assaulted him.

“She throws a pretty good punch,” he said in court.
Williams’ public defender asked why the man kept giving her money if she treated him badly.

He replied: ‘I cared about her.”
Evidence that Williams allegedly changed passwords to her boyfriends online accounts following the stabbing and used his credit card without permission several times was also presented.

Williams remains in Bucks County Prison on 10 percent of $100,000 bail.
