The Bristol Township Police on their Facebook page Monday afternoon, warned the public about “Outdoor open burning” saying it was prohibited by a local ordinance and the International Fire Code.
“Smoke created by outdoor open burning can directly affect the health and well-being of people who live or work nearby, by aggravating respiratory conditions, irritating eyes and lungs, obscuring visibility, and creating annoying odors. Smoke created by open burning is especially dangerous for people with respiratory diseases such as asthma, bronchitis, emphysema, and pneumonia.”
