Histand, who grew up in the Langhorne section of Middletown and graduated from Neshaminy High School, was last seen May 15 just after 5:30 a.m. when police found him sitting in an alfalfa field near Phoenix, Ariz. The responding officer said the young man was confused, but able to handle himself and he was let go, the local CBS affiliate reported.
The missing BMX rider’s father, Mike Histand, a Lower Makefield police officer, remains in Arizona and continues to help with the search.
A GiveForward.com fundraising account has been approved by the family and is raising funds to help pay for the cost of the search. Click here for more.
