A vacant trailer was destroyed by flames at a junkyard in the Morrisville section of Falls Township on Friday afternoon.
Fire Marshal Rich Dippolito said the fire is believed to have started when downed power lines coming from a nearby rail yard were re-energized Friday afternoon. The location of the fire was at Bob’s Towing and Storage and was visible from Route 1.

Dippolito said fire crews were called out earlier this week due to issues involving downed lines.
No injuries were reported in the fire, which was reported at 2:41 p.m., the fire marshal said.
Fire crews remained on the scene as of 4 p.m.
