The coroner’s office is awaiting DNA test results to determine the identity of the man found dead floating on the Delaware River in Bristol Township last month.
Officials said they believe they know the identity of the man, but want testing to confirm who the man is.

Bucks County Coroner Dr. Joseph Campbell said late in the week that dental testing was not possible as first thought because they could not find dental records for the man.
He added that a DNA sample had been taken from a female family member of the man suspected of being found in the river.
The man’s death was accidental and caused by hypothermia, Campbell said, confirming what Bristol Township police told LevittownNow.com last month.

The decomposing body was discovered off the coast of the Dow Chemical property by New Jersey officials in mid-April.
Campbell said he expected DNA results in the coming week.
