If you eat at Bertucci’s by the Oxford Valley Mall in Middletown Township on Thursday, 15 percent of your bill could go to the Detective Christopher Jones Foundation.

All diners need to do it tell their server they are there for the Detective Christopher Jones Foundation fundraiser or bring the coupon posted below.

Jones was a 10-year Middletown officer, promoted to detective after his death. He was struck by a vehicle and killed while conducting a traffic stop on Route 1 just before the I-95 onramp in 2009.

The Detective Christopher Jones Foundation raises funds to help the community and also annually awards scholarships to high school graduates planning to major in criminal justice.
