Meet Cynthia Murphy, a Soverign  business banker, local mother of two girls, and seeking election today as part of Bristol Township’s Pro Team.

Murphy recently joined the team along side Bob Lewis, Craig Bowen and Murray Bailey just a few short months ago, and since has pledged her dedication to become further involved in the community.

Her work with the Pro Team began a few months ago when she was approached at her own Bristol Township door by existing members of the team. Shortly after, Lewis and Bowen addressed her husband stating they were looking for two new members to join their team, Bailey and Murphy became the answer to their call.

“The main reason I got involved in this is because of my husband. He really encouraged me. I thought back to all the Pro Team had done for the community. They had brought in new business and got rid of vacant lots. I thought, I’m smart, I know business, I know people, I know the bottom line. I can do this.”

Murphy stated the Pro Team’s candid talk, their strong desire to put the taxpayer first, and their ultimately positive attitude about the township is what attracted her to their team.

“We have to keep going, keep moving forward,” she stated passionately. “Bristol Township can be better. It’s a great place to live, and a great place to start a business. No one prints those things, well atleast not enough.”

“What the Pro Team has done in the past is just baby steps compared to what I know we can accomplish,” she said.

When asked why she feels so passionately about entering politics she said, “This to me is my community service – my give back. I can easily do this.”
