A man who is alleged to have punched another man in the face at a Levittown bar last month offered to teach him how to box after the incident, police said.

Charges of simple assault, terroristic threat and harassment were filed last week against David Capuano, 41, of Levittown.

According to police, Capuano approached a man at a bar and knocked him unconscious at 12:10 a.m. on April 21 at Hurricane Jack’s Bar on New Falls Road in Bristol Township. After the man fell to the ground, Capuano stood over him and yelled, “I’m going to f–king kill you!” police said.

According to court documents, the man received text messages from Capuano about three hours after the attack. In one of the texts, Capuano extended an offer to meet the victim the next day and “teach him how to box,” documents state.

Police did not detail in an affidavit of probable cause how or if the accused and victim knew each other.
