Lane Restrictions Planned on Route 1

penndot_logoMotorist traveling on Route 1 in Middletown Township can expect lane restrictions over the next few days as crews work on a new bridge deck.

According to information from TMA Bucks, work crews have scheduled lane restrictions on northbound Route 1 between Bellevue Avenue and I-95 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday and Saturday from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. Traffic slow-downs are possible during the work.

The lane adjustments will happen as workers pour a new concrete deck on the Route 1 bridge over Maple Avenue (Route 213).

During the bridge reconstruction, the structure is being raised and the surrounding ramps and interchanges are being improved. PennDOT has previously said the project will be completed in 2014.
