Last Friday, Micheal Anthony Hall, 25, ย of Bristol, went to the Commerce Circle Dollar Store looking for more than savings, he was looking for trouble and shopping dirty.
Hall, while in the store, ย caused a disturbance of sorts which led employees to call Bristol Borough Police, court documents say.

Police arrived on the scene and attempted to take the defendant into custody, in which the defendant resisted, attempting to swallow narcotics he had on his person, authorities say.
There was a brief struggle, police say, in which they had to taser Hall, in order to ย subdue and place him under arrest, subsequently, police located in the defendant’s pockets. They said in court documents that they found 14 baggies of a white rock substance and two baggies of a green leafy substance.
Additionally, police foundย 5 cans of chicken meat, 2 packs of razors and one snack pack stuffed in the defendant’s pockets. The total value of the items was $8.12, police say.

Upon transfer to police headquarters, ย Hall refused to processed and then was placed in a cell.
Hall was arraigned in front of District Court Judge David Barnowski on possession, resisting arrest, and theft charges.

He was sent to Bucks County Jail in lieu of 10 percent of $5,000 bail.
