Two men prowling around, breaking into vehicles at a local auto shop on the 2000 block of Farragut Avenue were arrested late Saturday as Bristol Borough police apprehended them during the act, authorities say.
Michael Storm, 29, of Bristol and Jeffrey McLaughlin, 26, of Levittown, dressed in all black, caught the attention of a local who called police, court documents say.

Upon arrival, authorities observed McLaughlin hiding between two cars, police apprehended the defendant in the Farm Co Auto Repair parking lot, noting he was wearing latex gloves, according to court documents.
Storm was apprehended, when he was seen coming out of a white work van in the auto shops parking lot, authorities say.
Police say three cars were broken into on the lot and a box next to the white van found containing assorted tools and girl scout cookies.

Both defendants told officials they were stealing because they needed money.
Both defendants are charged theft, receiving stolen property and prowling at night.

They were released and are scheduled for a preliminary hearing on June 19 in front of District Court Judge Frank W. Peranteau Sr.
