Rep. Tina Davis and officials from Middletown Township, Bristol Township, PennDOT and the Transportation Management Agency (TMA).
It is the same group that has been meeting over the last few months in an attempt to formulate a plan for safe walkways on the busy road.

Sutter characterized the ongoing talks among the parties as positive but said they still have much to do.
Rickett, who said it was going to be necessary to apply for grants and aid, is hoping a bill sponsored by Senate Transportation Committee Chairman John Rafferty (R-44) might provide help in funding for the initiative.

“A core function of state government is to provide safe roads and bridges for the citizenry,” Rafferty said last week at the press conference for the bi-partisan plan.
When asked if that was a possibility for the effort, Sutter said he couldn’t comment since he is unaware of the bill.
