According to Bristol Township police, patrol officers came into contact with Kareem Ballard Monday at 11:17 p.m. in the 1100 block of Green Lane. The officers discovered he was a wanted by authorities in Delaware County.
Ballard’s warrant was based on a parole violation stemming from a 2011 DUI car accident in Upper Darby, court records indicate. The warrant was issued by a judge in Delaware County last Monday.
Aside from his arrest in Delaware County, Ballard was charged with several drug charges following a January drug arrest in Bristol Township. That case is still making its way through district court.

Ballard was booked on Monday and turned over to Constables, police said.

It unfortunately wasn’t an April Fools joke for a man who had his vehicle stolen on Monday.
The victim told police he parked his vehicle, which was still running, in front of Hurricane Jack’s Bar on New Falls Road as he went to the nearby Wawa at 10:25 p.m. When he came back, his car was gone, police said.
No further information was issued by Bristol Township authorities.
