Bucks Countyย Coronerย Dr. Joseph Campbell identified ย Ryan Hoover, 21, of Bristol Borough, as the person struck and killed by a SEPTA Trenton-bound train late Saturday night.

The incident, whichย occurredย on the elevated tracks directly behind Smokers Express on the 3800 block of Otter Street, caused Amtrak to shut down services in the north-east corridor for a about an hour, and it is the second such accident in the area in less than a month and the fourth in the Levittown area this year.

SEPTA Spokesperson Jerri Williams told LevittownNow.com early this morning that a “System Wideย Safetyย Day is being planned for a day in May” to engage the public about the risks the public takes when taking to the tracks.

“I know people read the train schedules and think they can cross safely, but there are any number of things that can happen that can change ย that,” she said.
