A Pennsbury School Board of Directors member has ended his public records request to obtain pay and benefits data on employees of the state’s public universities, the Bucks County Courier Times reported in Sunday’s print edition.
Board member Simon Campbell told the newspaper “third-party groups” were causing legal issues in his fight to obtain the public information. So far, he spent $10,000 on the effort, the paper reports.

Campbell is a Republican board member from Lower Makefield who is running for re-election this fall. He runs http://stopteacherstrikes.org, a website that provides links to a database where the salaries of all public school teachers can be found.
