Middletown Authorities Look for Car Thieves

Police in Middletown release surveillance photos of a couple they believe is connected to the theft of a vehicle from the Chick-Fil-A at the Oxford Valley Mall.

On Friday, Feb. 8, the couple stole a blue 1992 Chrysler LeBaron from the parking lot of the fast food joint, police said. Later in the day, authorities found the vehicle abandoned in the parking lot of the Wawa in the 2200 block of Lincoln Highway in the Trevose section of Lower Southampton.

According to police and surveillance inages, the couple was picked up from the Wawa at 4:20 p.m. by a light-colored, older-model Ford Mustang, which was last seen traveling south on Lincoln Highway in the direction of Philadelphia.

Police ask anyone who may have information on the suspects or the vehicle to contact Detective Greg Kneiss at 215-750-3845 ext. 228.
