Emerson Elementary Holds Successful Fundraisers

Because of the students at Ralph W. Emerson Elementary School in Bristol Township, the Foundation for Children with Cancer and the Ronald McDonald House “Change the Luck of a Child” drive will benefit.

The students hosted two very successful fundraising efforts in March, school officials said.

  • The school raised $525 during their annual “Hats on Day” for the Foundation for Children with Cancer on March 1. Students gave a $1 donation to wear their favorite hat during the school day. The best hats won a prize.
  • “Twisted Tuesday” was held on March 12 and raised funds for the Ronald McDonald House “Change the Luck of a Child” drive. Pretzels were sold by the students and brought in $55.
