Because of the students at Ralph W. Emerson Elementary School in Bristol Township, the Foundation for Children with Cancer and the Ronald McDonald House “Change the Luck of a Child” drive will benefit.
The students hosted two very successful fundraising efforts in March, school officials said.
- The school raised $525 during their annual “Hats on Day” for the Foundation for Children with Cancer on March 1. Students gave a $1 donation to wear their favorite hat during the school day. The best hats won a prize.
- “Twisted Tuesday” was held on March 12 and raised funds for the Ronald McDonald House “Change the Luck of a Child” drive. Pretzels were sold by the students and brought in $55.
