Two Bristol Township residents were arrested and sent to Bucks County prison Sunday night after beating their roommate “violently with a crowbar,” authorities said.
Christine Carey, 34, and Jeron Thompson, 27, both of Mintleaf Road, were sent to prison in lieu of $100,000 bail, each with a first degree felony charge and related offenses by on-call District Judge Frank Peranteau Sr. on Sunday night.

According to court documents, Bristol Township police were called to a Mintleaf Road address in the Mill Creek Falls section of Levittown around 4:30 p.m. It was determined upon investigation that the defendant “aggressively beat the victim about the head and face area causing severe injury requiring immediate medical treatment,” police said.
The victim lives in the same house as Carey and Thompson, police said.
