A driver was hurt Thursday afternoon when a car traveling across Wistar Road struck a residence in Bristol Township.

The single-vehicle crash took place around 1:22 p.m. in the 4200 block of Wistar Road, which is across from a Wawa convenience store and next to Conwell-Egan Catholic High School.
According to a preliminary investigation by the Bristol Township Police Department, a 2010 Mazda MZ3 was traveling east out of the Wawa parking lot and crashed into the front of the home.
The residence sustained no structural damage from the impact, police said.

The driver of the Mazda was injured in the crash and was transported from the scene by the Levittown-Fairless Hills Rescue Squad to St. Mary Medical Center in Middletown Township.
Officers were assisted at the scene by Levittown Fire Company No. 2, Edgely Fire Company, Fairless Hills Fire Department, Bristol Township Fire Rescue, and the Bristol Township Fire Marshal’s Office.
