Motorcycle Fire Burns Shed

Firefighters battled a blaze in a shed next to a home in Bristol Township.

Just past 6:45 a.m. on Friday morning, crews were dispatched to a home in the 400 block of Park Avenue for a report of a motorcycle ablaze inside a shed, officials said.

Third District Fire Company Chief Howard McGoldrick said crews arrived and began efforts to fight the flames.

McGoldrick said the fire was contained and brought under control at 7:05 a.m.

Firefighters checked to see if the fire has expanded past the shed into the nearby dwelling.

The blaze caused damage to the rear siding of the house.

No injuries were reported.

LevittownNow.com readers reported a thick column of smoke was seen coming from the fire scene.

In addition to the Third District Fire Company, Bristol Township Fire Rescue and the Croydon and Newportville fire companies responded.
