
A driver was injured after they suffered a medical emergency and crashed.

Pennsylvania State Police said the crash happened Monday at 7:52 a.m. on I-295 westbound in Middletown Township.
Troopers said a 2019 Jeep went off the highway just before Trenton Road after the driver experienced a “medical episode.”
The Jeep left the highway, struck the center guide wires, and traveled about 200 feet off the highway before coming to a rest, state police said.

The driver was taken to St. Mary Medical Center for evaluation.
Troopers said the driver – a 28-year-old Philadelphia man – suffered minor injuries.

The Jeep had to be towed from the scene.
State police said they don’t plan to charge the driver.
