The death of a man found in a car in the Mill Street Parking Lot Tuesday afternoon didn’t appear to involve foul play, according to Bristol Borough’s police chief.

Borough police and the Bucks County Coroner’s Office identified the man found in the white Scion, but they were not releasing his name to the media, as members of his family had not yet been notified, police Chief Steve Henry said Thursday.

“Although the death is being treated as suspicious, there is no indication of foul play,” Henry told LevittownNow.com.

After the autopsy was performed, investigators sent samples for laboratory testing to determine the cause of death, the chief said.

Police blocked off the area where the car with the body was located for several hours while borough investigators and county detectives processed the scene into Tuesday evening.
