A fast food restaurant chain known for chicken fingers is seeking to construct a location in Falls Township.
Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers, which has most of its locations in the Midwest and southern states, is seeking to tear down the closed Romano’s Macaroni Grill at the Court at Oxford Valley off Oxford Valley Road and construct a new location with two drive-thru lanes.

The plans call for replacing the 7,500-square-foot existing building with a new 3,329-square-foot restaurant with a double-lane drive-thru and patio seating area.
Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers’ plans still need to go through Falls Township’s land development process and win approval.
The proposed location would be Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers only location Pennsylvania if it opened right away. However, the company has proposed another location near State College.

Romano’s Macaroni Grill closed last March and stood in that site for about 20 years.
