In the final days on the 2020 presidential campaign, former Vice President Joe Biden and his wife, Jill, will be holding a campaign event in Bristol Township on Saturday.

The Democratic candidate’s campaign event will be held at Bucks County Community College’s Gene and Marlene Epstein Campus at Lower Bucks, according to multiple government, law enforcement, and political sources.

The event location and time has not been been formally confirmed by Biden’s campaign, but the sources said the physically-distant campaign stop will take place around lunchtime.

Due to COVID-19, it is expected that the campaign event have a limited number of attendees.

The Biden campaign has said the visit by the candidate will be to speak about building back the economy for families and to encourage voters to make a plan to cast their ballots.

Biden, in support of then-candidate Hillary Clinton, spoke at the community college’s Bristol Township campus in 2016.

By all accounts, it seems likely that President Donald Trump will be campaigning Monday in Upper Bucks County. The Trump campaign responded to a request for comment. (Update: the Trump event has been pushed back.)

On Monday, Jill Biden visited Falls Township. Last week, Karen Pence visited Bristol Borough and Eric Trump visited Chalfont Borough.

Bucks County and Pennsylvania are considered key battleground states. Both campaigns have shifted considerable resources to win the state.
