UPDATE: Tanker Truck Filled With Hazardous Materials Removed After Overturning

A tanker truck crashed Friday evening in Bristol Township and drew firefighters from around the lower end of the county.

The tanker truck overturned on the ramp connecting I-95 (formerly the Pennsylvania Turnpike) to Route 13 in Bristol Township shortly after 6 p.m.

It was immediately unclear if the overturned truck was leaking any contents. Hazmat crews and chemical spill response units were called to the area.

Traffic in the area was delayed and blocked in some areas. The ramp to the highway was blocked.
