
A classic car caused significant damage to a home in Bristol Township’s Levittown section when it slammed through the front.

The 1965 Plymouth Fury sedan crashed through the front of the home at the corner of Gable Hill and Gun roads around 7:40 p.m. Saturday, according to police and fire officials.
The driver was taken from the scene by medics, but his condition was not known.

No one was inside, which is owned by a firefighter, at the time the classic car slammed in the dwelling, Levittown Fire Company No. 2 Chief Chris Shortt said.

The driver appeared to have lost control and slammed through the front of the home, causing heavy damage and striking a load-bearing wall, Shortt said.

The fire marshal was called out to check the building integrity.
The crash remained under investigation.
