Pennsbury Music Staff, Student Choir Perform Virtually

With classes out due to COVID-19, Pennsbury High School students with musical talents could have missed the opportunity to perform.

However, technology has eased that burden and allowed for the high school’s Chamber Choir to perform a virtual rendition of “Amazing Grace.”

“When the official news came out that we would not be returning this school year, I knew that many of our students would be extremely disappointed about not being able to perform together again this year. So many concerts and amazing activities that we had been working towards have been erased in an instant,” said Adam Pfannenstiel,ย the director of bands at Pennwood Middle School.

After hearing classes would not resume in person for the rest of the school year, the Pennsbury Instrumental Music Department got together to perform a version of the high school’s Alma Mater.

“I wanted to utilize our faculty’s talents to compile this video that we dedicate to the entire Pennsbury community, but especially to our Senior Class of 2020,”ย Pfannenstiel said.
