PHOTOS: Tullytown’s Volunteer Firefighters Celebrate 100 Years With Parade

Sirens blared through 2.1-square-mile Tullytown Borough late Saturday morning as its volunteer fire company marked 100 years of service.

The parade started at the Walt Disney Elementary School and head onto Levittown Parkway to Route 13, onto Fallsington Avenue and over the bridge, down Main Street, and to the fire station on Bordentown Road with residents lining the route.

Firefighters from Tullytown and around the county rode in the parade. The large fire trucks of varying types of colors made their way through the borough.

The parade was capped off with tricked-out Jeeps, Girl Scouts, and State Sen. Steve Santarsiero.

After the parade, an afternoon-long celebration was held at the  fire station on Bordentown.
