Bristol Twp. Woman’s Cake Wins Contest

A Bristol Township bakery worker’s cake was presented to the Phillie Phanatic on Sunday.

Andrea Gana, who works at the Giant Food Store on Stony Hill Road in Lower Makefield, took the cake in grocery chain’s competition to create a decorated cake to celebrate the beloved baseball mascot.

Gana was competing in the contest against 17 fellow Giant Food Store workers from around the region.

The public voted and placed her in the top spot.

Cakes that competed had to include Citizens Bank Park logo and Phanatic’s birthday party theme of magic.
