Kayden Mancuso was found deceased inside a home on Wilde Street in the Manayunk section of the city Monday morning. Her 45-year-old father was also found deceased in the home, according to sources and media reports.

The Philadelphia Inquirer reported that the girl’s father appeared to have taken his own life.

Pennsbury administration emailed parents early Monday afternoon to let them know Kayden, who was about to enter second grade, had passed away. They offered condolences and let parents know about the tragedy.
