As news of a continuing FBI investigation into Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s email server was breaking, about 2,000 people were preparing to hear from Republican vice presidential candidate Gov. Mike Pence inside a Bensalem manufacturing facility.
Chants of “lock her up” were heard in small bursts before Pence took the stage.
Once he was on the stage and making his stump speech, it took several minutes for Pence to mention the news but some Donald Trump supporters in the audience were whispering about the investigation, which the New York Times reports appears to center around disgraced former Democratic New York Congressmanย Anthony Weiner, whose estrange wife is a top Clinton aide.
Pence was met withย raucous applause when he said he and Trump “commend the FBI for having the courage to reopen the case.”
The mention of the reopening of the email investigation led the vice presidential candidate to a discussion on what he calls the “loose” ethics of the Clinton family.
Pence also said theย FBI should “immediately release all emails pertinent to the investigation.”

โIโm sick and tired of the Clinton scandals and the pay to play politics. It all comes to an end in 11 days when we elect Donald Trump,” Pence said.
โNot only are we going to stop the Clintons in their tracks, we are going to drain the swamp,โ he added.
The crowd cheered on Pence during his mentions of the Clintons.
Republican candidate for treasurer Otto Voit, who often speaks at Trump events, joked before the Pence’s speech that he “heard [Clinton] is going to hold her next rally from a prison.”
Pence, a conservative governor from Indiana, told the crowd he was aย man of faith, value, family and putting country before self.
The candidate said Trump is similar to him and never quits.
โHe is willing to fight every day for what be believes in and he is going to fight all the way to the White House,โ Pence said.
The Indiana governor described theย election as a choice between two futures. He said voting for Trump would be choosing aย stronger, more prosperous, and constitutionally sound America.
โDonald Trump is still winning hearts and minds every day in spite of Clinton’s allies, the media,” Pence said.
โThere is no question that the world is more dangerous today than it was the day when Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama took over,” he told the crowd.

Mentions of national security, building up the military and illegal immigration were made by Pence.
โAmerica needs to be strong for our people to be safe, and Donald Trump will lead on the world stage,โ Pence said.
Within the first 100 days, a Trump administration will get rid of the death tax, end the “war on coal,” โlower taxes across the board” and work to reduce regulations.
“Donald Trump and I recognize that the alphabet soup coming out of Washington is killing jobs,โ Pence said about regulations by government agencies.
