A homeless man was taken into custody after he allegedly sold two rifles to a 9-year-old boy for $8 outside of a Bristol Township 7-Eleven, according to police.
According to officers, they received a call Wednesday from the boy’s grandfather. He told police his grandson had come home with two rifles he said he had purchased from a man in his late 50s. Upon learning of the incident, the grandfather immediately called 9-1-1.

Officers noted in a probable cause affidavit that at least one of the rifles, a .177 caliber Beeman, or a .22 caliber Marlin, had been stolen from R and D Automotive in Croydon the prior day during a burglary.

During the early morning hours on Thursday, police were dispatched to Lower Bucks Hospital for the report of a subject who refused to leave, said subject 59-year-old Reginald Sisco, who fit the matching descriptions of the man who sold the firearms to the boy, admitted to the sale. He reportedly told police, “yes it was stupid and I am sorry.”
Sisco, who told police he worked at R and D Automotive, said he was aware of the burglary, and found the guns later in the woods. He also told investigators he thought he would sell them since he needed the extra money. The local 9-year-old provided the man $8 in change for the the guns, according to Sisco.
