Middletown police officers and detectives executed a search warrant related to a drug investigation Wednesday in Levittown.

Police say Jimmy Thanh Nguyen, 19, was arrested after officers executed the warrant on a house in the 30 block of Jumphill Road.

Officers seized four unopened bags of suspected marijuana, a quart-sized ball jar containing suspected marijuana, a water bong, two Addarall capsules and metal grinder among other items, according to court papers.

Nguyen was found sleeping in the room where the alleged drug paraphernalia and drugs were found, police said.

During a Wednesday morning interview at the police station, Nguyen told a detective he sells a “few ounces (of marijuana) a month” and would also give marijuana to friends. The price of the marijuana varied, the alleged drug dealer told investigators, court papers said.

Nguyen reportedly said he started selling drugs in November 2014.

With consent, a detective looked at Nguyen’s iPhone 6 and discovered text messages related to drug sales.

Nguyen was charged with manufacture, delivery or possession with intent; possession of a controlled substance; possession of drug paraphernalia; and criminal use of a communication facility. He was jailed on 10 percent of $50,000 bail, with a preliminary hearing scheduled for June 4 before District Judge John Kelly.
