The crash that lead to the death of 80-year-old Bristol resident Thomas Hall happened around 6:45 a.m. Sunday morning. Hall’s blue Chevrolet Malibu and a Chevrolet utility truck crashed on Green Lane, in front of Fleetwing Drive. Both drivers were seriously hurt and Hall passed away at the hospital.

Sgt. Chuck Burns said Monday that investigators are still analyzing data to determine speed. He added police will examine “autopsy results to see if perhaps Mr Hall may have had some type of medical condition just prior to the crash.”

Police do know that Hall was making a left turn from Green Lane onto Fleetwing Drive when the crash happened.

Hall was a volunteer coach in the community for more than five decades. He worked with kids in the Wardogs football team and at Neil Armstrong Middle School in Bristol Township.

“I learned so much in the five years we coached together and the 14 years I got to work with him in the Wardogs organization,” Bill Smith, president of the Wardogs football organization said. “The memories I will cherish most weren’t on the football field, although I dare anyone who had seen Coach T stalk a referee up and down the sidelines giving him the business not to crack a smile at the memory.”

Hall’s service arraignments have not yet been announced.
