A relaxation and skincare rejuvenation business has opened, courtesy of 20-year-old entrepreneur Emma Nicol.
Heaven Sent by Emma recently opened as an esthetic services business within the Sola Salon at the Langhorne Square Shopping Center at 1285 Lincoln Highway in Middletown.
Nicol, who is licensed and trained, said the business was created to be a sanctuary for those seeking to escape the daily grind and indulge in self-care.

Emma’s journey to opening her own business was fueled by a personal mission and her own struggles with skin issues during her teenage years.
Growing up in a household of boys, Emma wasn’t drawn to makeup as much as she was fascinated by skincare.
Her interest and her high school experiences with skin issues ignited a passion to help others feel confident and comfortable in their skin.

“Iโve always had an interest in skin and this business focuses on that,” Emma said.
Heaven Sent by Emma stands out for its array of services, including basic and express facials, chemical peels, an extensive variety of waxes, backcials, and more.
Emma’s vision extends beyond mere skincare; she aims to provide a holistic experience where clients can find a moment of peace amidst their hectic lives.

“My goal is to make sure my clients are walking out of my suite feeling powerful, happy, stress-free, relaxed, and beautiful and handsome within themselves” she said.
Emma’s skincare business also breaks traditional stereotypes. She emphasized that men are also in need of and can benefit from skincare treatments.
“Men have acidic PH levels and their skin needs some love as well,” she said.
Adding a unique touch to the customer experience, Emma’s mom, Erin, will contribute to the relaxing atmosphere by setting up a baking cart filled with freshly baked goods. Locals can enjoy a treat alongside their tea or coffee, even if they haven’t booked a skincare appointment.
Emma believes that this combination of pampering and comfort treats will enhance the overall experience.
Emma explained that the baked goods will help support mental health awareness. She noted that the colors purple and teal used to represent suicide prevention and lavender help calm the mind.
Behind the name “Heaven Sent” lies a story of personal loss and tribute. Emma has dedicated her business to the memory of her brother, whose passing has fueled her entrepreneurial journey with a deeper sense of purpose.

Emma said she views her business’s success as a legacy to her late brother Danny.
