Paving crews are returning to Woodbourne Road this week as the ongoing resurfacing project continues through Middletown Township’s Levittown section.

Starting Monday, Sept. 28, and running through Friday, Oct. 2, lane closures with flagging will be implemented along Woodbourne Road between Cobalt Ridge Drive and Big Oak Road.
There will be daytime utility work from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and also nighttime repaving from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. the next morning.
Crews have been working on Woodbourne Road as part of PennDOT resurfacing, local utility upgrades, and nearby development since earlier this year.

The resurfacing work is part of PennDOT’s program to repair, resurface, and upgrade more than 240 miles of state-owned highways and roads across Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties, according to a statement.
All scheduled work this week is weather permitting.
PennDOT officials warn drivers to expect backups and delays in the area and recommend giving extra travel time when driving through the work zone.
