Cops are seeking the whereabouts of a man accused of taking thousands of dollars for home improvement work that was never finished.

Jason Ball, 47, of Bristol Township, has an arrest warrant out charging him with home improvement fraud and theft by deception, the Falls Township Police Department announced Friday afternoon.
The investigation began earlier this month after the residents reported they hired Ball to replace a stone wall lining the sidewalk and driveway of their home. The homeowners had posted an inquiry on the Nextdoor app seeking a contractor, and Ball responded offering to complete the project, police said.

The agreement called for the work to begin July 6 and conclude by July 10, police said.
The residents paid Ball half of the agreed-upon cost up front and provided the remaining balance after the work started, according to investigators.

Police said Ball allegedly abandoned the project midway through and received a total of $5,800 for the uncompleted work.
The residents and investigating officers attempted to contact Ball, and they were unsuccessful, police said.
Falls Township police are currently seeking information on Ball’s whereabouts.
