

Amazon announced recently that it has awarded a total of $150,000 to 22 local community groups, schools, nonprofits, and individuals through its Bucks County Community Fund.

The grant program, which was launched in February as part of the company’s data center project in Falls Township, looks to fund grassroots projects driving regional change across categories such as culture, education, sustainability, and health.

The applications for the Amazon-funded grants were vetted and administered by ChangeX, a nonprofit organization that scored the projects based on community impact and specific funding criteria.
