The Bucks County Coroner’s Office has been called to the scene for a reported fatality.
The fire had largely been knocked down by 8 p.m., but crews remained on the scene into the night.

Firefighters from across Lower Bucks County responded to battle a three-alarm blaze that broke out Monday evening in a residential neighborhood.
Crews were initially dispatched to the 300 block of Dorrance Street, which is between Pond and Wood streets, in Bristol Borough at approximately 6:10 p.m. for reports of a house fire.

The response by volunteers was quickly upgraded to a second alarm, and a third alarm was struck by 6:45 p.m. due to the flames and the threat of it spreading to nearby homes.

According to fire radio traffic, arriving units encountered heavy flames.
Multiple 9-1-1 calls indicated there were reports of possible entrapment in the dwelling and a second home was ablaze. Flames were starting to spread to a third home, according to scanner traffic.

As of 6:50 p.m., there were no confirmed details regarding injuries or whether anyone remained trapped in the burning home.
The fire sent plumes of thick smoke and bright flames into the evening sky. The smoke and fire was visible across the borough.
Firefighters on the scene reported that nearby homes on the residential street were at risk of catching on fire.
