After Snowfall, Schools Announce Plans For Tuesday

In the wake of a nor’easter that dumped close to 2 feet on snow on the Levittown area, several school districts have announced their plans for Tuesday.

Bristol Borough School District:

Due to winter weather conditions, the Bristol Borough School District Buildings will be closed and all classes will be run asynchronous on Tuesday, February 24, 2026. โ€ฆ.. All Students are expected to log in to their Google Classrooms to complete all assignments. Attendance will be recorded in each class and determined by completion of assignments. Also, all after school activities are cancelled.

Bristol Township School District:

Due to winter weather conditions, the Bristol Township School District will have a Remote Learning Day on Tuesday, February 24.

All extracurricular events and activities are canceled.

Only essential operations and management staff are expected to report to work. All other BTSD employees should perform their work responsibilities virtually and be available throughout the workday.

Bucks County Technical High School:

In light of the ongoing winter storm and cleanup efforts, Bucks County Technical High School and its offices will be closed on Tuesday, February 24th.

This day will be designated for asynchronous learning, so all students should log into their Google Classroom to access assignments. Additionally, adult education classes will be canceled.

Staff members are expected to work remotely.

Neshaminy School District:

As the clean-up from the winter storm continues, all Neshaminy schools and offices will be closed tomorrow (Tuesday, February 24). This is the third weather-related closure of the school year, which means that for students, it will be an asynchronous online learning day. 

For students, assignments will be posted in Canvas by 8:00 am (for middle and high school students) and 9:00 am (for elementary students). Assignments can be completed any time during the day, and teaching staff can be contacted via Canvas between 9:00 – 10:30 am and 12:30 – 2:00 pm for support.

Further notifications:

  • All before and after-school activities on Tuesday are canceled with the exception of scheduled Gym Night practices at Neshaminy High School.
  • No transportation will be provided.
  • The Neshaminy School Board Public Meeting will be held as scheduled at 7 pm in the District Board Room at Maple Point.

Pennsbury School District:

Due to the significant snowfall and the challenging travel conditions that are expected to last well into the day tomorrow, all Pennsbury schools and offices will continue on a Remote Learning schedule for TUESDAY, February 24, 2026.  

Quick Information:

PLEASE NOTE: We will evaluate the possibility of holding evening activities on Tuesday.  Schools will share any updates before 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
