A Bristol man was sentenced after pleading guilty last month to stalking and breaking into a residence in Upper Southampton Township, according to court documents.

Christopher G. Ehlinger, 43, entered a negotiated guilty plea before Bucks County Court of Common Pleas Judge Wallace Bateman. Ehlinger pleaded guilty to charges of criminal trespassing, stalking, and terroristic threats with intent to terrorize another.
The charges stemmed from two separate cases involving the same victim, according to court papers.
Bateman sentenced Ehlinger to 23 months in county jail and granted him credit for time already served. The sentence also includes five years of probation after his release. Additionally, Ehlinger was ordered to be placed under a domestic violence supervisor and must comply with all recommendations resulting from mandated mental health and substance abuse evaluations.

Police arrested Ehlinger in August 2025 following a series of incidents in July.
Police said Ehlinger entered a residential property located on Pennsylvania Avenue in Upper Southampton Township.

As part of the sentencing conditions, the judge issued a permanent no-contact order prohibiting Ehlinger from communicating with the victim or visiting their place of business.
