Drivers can expect restrictions in both directions of Route 1 between Fairhill Avenue and the Pennsylvania Turnpike Interchange.

The closures will be in effect Sunday, July 20, through Friday, July 25, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning.

Motorists are advised to allow for extra travel time when passing through the work zone.

All paving operations are weather dependent, according to PennDOT.

The paving is part of the larger Route 1 overhaul project, with the first two phases currently underway.
