Based on the 1974 Mel Brooks film, the Broadway hit parodies the horror genre and the 1930s film adaptations of Mary Shelley’s “Frankenstein” and its sequels.
The story follows Frederick Frankenstein, who inherits his family’s Transylvanian estate from his late grandfather, Victor von Frankenstein. Frederick finds himself drawn into the family’s legacy of creating life, but the resulting creature terrorizes the countryside.
Performances will be held in the Theodore Kloos Auditorium at Neshaminy High School at 2001 Old Lincoln Highway. Showtimes are Thursday, Feb. 13, and Friday, Feb. 14, at 7 p.m.; Saturday, Feb. 15, at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m.; and Sunday, Feb. 16, at 1 p.m.
