The truck ended up going into the lake Saturday evening.
Nate Aldsworth, the borough’s acting police chief, said the pickup truck ended up in the lake as a result of an error by the driver.
The woman was not intoxicated, and no arrests were made, Aldsworth said.

On Sunday morning, the Tullytown Fire Company and Bucks County Special Operations dive team assisted police with recovering the pickup truck from the water.

The special operations team Facebook page posted that the pickup truck was in zero visibility conditions and under 20 feet of water.

“Our divers attached a rope strap to the vehicle’s tow hitch and then with the assistance of Marine 33 [the Tullytown Fire Company’s boat] attached the tow cable,” the team posted.
The fire company said it took 3 1/2 hours to recover the pickup truck, police said.
