A confrontation in a diner bathroom escalated into robbery, according to police.

Officers responded to the Golden Eagle Diner at the intersection of Route 13 and Bath Street in Bristol Township around 12:32 a.m. on Friday, March 22 following reports of a disturbance.
According to police, 25-year-old Cassidy Rose Matone, of Bristol Borough, forcefully entered the bathroom while another woman was present.
Police said that Matone began yelling at the woman before physically restraining her and demanding her bag.

Matone allegedly managed to seize the bag, taking a bank card and purse that were in it, police said.
The woman attempted to flee the restroom throughout the ordeal but reported being repeatedly shoved and held back by Matone, police said.

An arrest warrant on charges of robbery, simple assault, theft, disorderly conduct, and harassment was issued in late March for Matone, police said.
According to court papers, Matone was arrested last week and preliminary arraigned. She was held on 10 percent of $35,000 bail.
