

A homeless man has been identified as the person killed when they were struck by a vehicle last week.

Bucks County Coroner Patti Campi identified the man as 22-year-old Christopher Jones, who was fatally struck by a vehicle while crossing near the Target shopping center in Middletown Township at approximately 9:15 p.m. last Thursday.
According to officials, Jones was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said that the driver of the vehicle that struck Jones remained at the scene and has been cooperating with the ongoing investigation.

Police said that the initial investigation did not suggest impairment or excessive speed on the part of the driver. However, the investigation was ongoing.
Following the incident, the stretch of East Lincoln Highway in area of the scene was temporarily closed to traffic as police conducted their investigation.
