Bristol Borough School District:
Due to the current Severe Storm, Bristol Borough School District will open 2 hours late on Wednesday, January 10, 2024.

After consultation with the Office of Emergency Management, the Department of Education and other stakeholders, as a result of inclement weather and concerns about high winds and potential flooding, the Bristol Township School District will operate on a two-hour delayed opening on Wednesday, January 10.

Please take your bus arrival time and add two-hours to it for morning pickup.
Start times are as follows:
- High School: 9:13 a.m.
- Middle: 10 a.m.
- Elementary: 11:20 a.m.
At Truman High School, Keystone Exams are cancelled for tomorrow and all students should report following the delayed opening schedule.

This afternoon, County Superintendents & CTE Directors met with the Bucks County Emergency Management Team. Based on the information provided at this meeting and in an abundance of caution, BCTHS will operate on a 2-hour delay tomorrow morning (1/10/2024). This 2-hour delay will allow school personnel to reevaluate and access current situations affecting travel conditions and our facilities. The delayed opening will also allow us to better evaluate the current storm situations in the morning.

This afternoon, the Bucks County school superintendents met with the Bucks County Emergency Management Team. Based on the information provided at that meeting, the timing of this storm and out of an abundance of caution, we have made the decision to open on a 2-hour delay schedule tomorrow morning. This delay will allow time for our administrators to evaluate the situation regarding travel conditions, the state of our facilities and any other safety concerns in the morning.
