Due to a generous donation of $50,000 from the Neshaminy Kids Club, Neshaminy High School has installed a brand-new electronic scoreboard on their multipurpose field.

The recent addition that was unveiled this month was part of the multi-million dollar athletic fields renovation project.
Mirroring the look of the stadium’s scoreboard, the new display features raised letters spelling out “Neshaminy” on top, coupled with an LED video screen beneath.
Neshaminy High School Assistant Principal and Athletic Director Lisa Pennington; Acting Superintendent Jason Bowman; Neshaminy Kids Club Director Kathleen Carmona; and Neshaminy Kids Club Business Manager Diana Overton gathered earlier this week to celebrate the donation.

The Neshaminy Kids Club is independent from the school district and operates as a nonprofit organization. The organization provides before and after-school services to the Neshaminy elementary schools and holds an annual summer camp program.
Over the last decade, they have generously funded numerous projects and upgrades, including playground and gym equipment, outdoor seating, and various other projects for the students, according to the district.

This year, Harry E. Franks stadium was completed with new bleachers, a press box, a track, and an artificial turf surface. The field is set up for various sports: soccer, field hockey, football, lacrosse and track and field. The updated track now has eight lanes, up from the previous six, and a video scoreboard has been installed.
Additionally, new tennis courts have been completed. As part of the renovation project, a turf baseball field and a softball field were finished earlier and utilized in the spring season.
