Crews were dispatched to the 100 block of Rice Drive for a reported dwelling fire at 4:47 p.m. Within minutes, the first firefighters pulled up and found heavy fire.
Falls Township Fire Company Chief Andy Hilbert said crews found fire coming from the attached garage and flames already spreading into the first and second floor.
The residents were home at the time of the fire and managed to escape without injuries. Their dog was removed from the home by the residents and is in good condition, Hilbert said.
