Brady, a Bristol Borough native, is no stranger to the area. He attended Bucks County Technical High School in Bristol Township, where he focused on emergency services. Later, Brady pursued his education at Bucks County Community College, playing baseball and earning an associate’s degree in criminal justice. In August 2018, Brady graduated from the Philadelphia Police Academy. Prior to joining the Bristol Township Police Department, he served in the SEPTA Police Department for five years. Brady and his wife, Ashley, who is also a police officer in Bristol Borough, reside in the township.

Originally from Manalapan, New Jersey, Katz lives in Northeast Philadelphia with his girlfriend and their two dogs. Katz’s pursuit of knowledge led him to East Stroudsburg University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in business management in May 2016. In April 2021, Officer Katz successfully completed his training at the Philadelphia Police Academy and served in the Philadelphia Police Department before coming to Bristol Township.

Mulhern, hailing from Warminster Township, joins the Bristol Township Police Department with an interesting background. He graduated from William Tennent High School before obtaining a bachelor’s degree in biology from Bryn Athyn College. Mulhern’s passion for ice hockey took him overseas, where he played professionally in Sweden for the Osteraker Vikings in Stockholm. Returning to America in 2018, Mulhern met his fiancé and now has a son. Throughout high school and college, he worked for his father’s moving business before attending the Temple Ambler Police Academy, graduating in March 2023. The new officer was hired by the Bristol Township Police Department while still attending the academy. He is the first member of his family to become a police officer.
Bristol Township Chief of Police Robert Coulton said the officers are looking forward to contributing to the community.

The township hired 13 officers in 2022 to fill the spots of officers who had retired.
In the 2023 budget, township officials said they would continue to fill vacancies in the department and look at adding more officers to deal with an increasing call volume.
